Remote Deposit Anywhere

Deposit checks from your smartphone or tablet.

Depositing a check using the MyGenMobile banking app saves a trip to an office location. It's easy, free and secure!

 

Step 1

Sign your name on the back of the check and write "Remote Deposit Only" under your signature.

 

 

Step 2

Using the MyGenMobile App take
a picture of the FRONT of the check.

Keep the following in mind:

  • Store remote deposit checks in a secure place until you receive deposit confirmation. Then, the check can be shredded and disposed of to prevent identity theft.
  • If deposited M-F before 5pm, funds will be available after 9pm the same day. 
  • If deposited on weekend or holidays, funds will be available after 9pm on the next business day.
  • Deposit up to 5 checks or $2,500 in one day.
  • Deposit up to 10 checks or $15,000 in a month.

 

Not registered for remote deposit yet? Follow these instructions to activate the feature!

1. Download and open the MyGenMobile App.

2. Follow the onscreen instructions and login using your online banking credentials. 

3. Next, tap "deposit" on the app's home screen.

4. You will be prompted to enter your account information and setup everything needed for remote deposit. 

5. Once that is done, wait for an approval notification (it could take some time to process this request).

6. After receiving the confirmation notification you are ready to start using remote deposit!
