Retired Lt. General Carol Mutter was on hand to present the keys to the House’s first veteran occupant. Mutter was the Marine Corp’s first female three star general. During her visit to the Finger Lakes area, she also spoke to groups at the Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES, Bloomfield Central School, The Four County School Boards Association and The National Women’s Hall of Fame.

Habitat for Humanity President and Generations Bank President and CEO Menzo Case commented: “It is such an honor to spend time with someone like Lt. General Mutter. Her achievement in the face of enormous obstacles is inspiring and a lesson to all. Having her with us to help dedicate Honor House made a tremendous day even better.”
